Biography

Prior to his semi-retirement in 2018, Gary’s career was focused in two main areas-advising multinational manufacturers on doing business in Canada, and advising municipalities, hospitals and universities on the business aspects of their operations in Ontario. He is an award-winning business lawyer with executive management experience. He has been advising clients in the manufacturing, energy and broader public sectors for let’s just say ‘many’ years (40ish).

Since 2018, Gary has expanded his practice interests to include advising innovators and their angel investors in start-ups and early-stage product commercialization businesses. He has also focused on providing strategic, as well as legal, advice to his loyal clients.

Gary is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, a former Sir James Dunn Scholar, a winner of Hamilton’s Citizen of the Year award, and a recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee award for service to the manufacturing industry in Canada.
